Siberian Round House

This is the image that really started me thinking about all of this. For me it conjures thoughts of a small community tucked away in the woods somewhere. Somewhere that doesn't so much care about the price of gas or when the new iphone is coming out. A little grove that is more concerned with day to day existence. Do we have enough food, are we warm enough, are we too warm, how are the crops doing etc. As I get older I find myself yearning to be grappling with these questions far more than with questions about health insurance, mortgages and the like. So here's the beginnings of a massive tangent.
